Sake Kasu is a byproduct of Sake production, although virtually unheard of in most of the world, it's been a Japanese skincare tradition for thousands of years as long as sake has been brewed. Sake kasu contains enzymes that gently exfoliate the skin without depleting it of moisture. These are said to give Kasu anti-aging properties, the ability to retain moisture, reduce blemishes, correct discoloration, and even out the skin tone and texture; producing tighter, brighter, lighter, softer, and more youthful skin. Kasu is also said to soothe inflammation and skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema and acne. This soap is essentially an ancient fountain of youth ;)
